Mexico City.- Nicolas Almagro, number 47 in the ATP Emirates ranking, confirms his participation to the Los Cabos Mexican Tennis Open and sends a greeting to his fans.
As of this moment, Nico along with Feliciano Lopez (22) and Fernando Verdasco (52) make up the Spanish participation of the highly expected tournament.
Almagro visited Mexico in uninterrupted times from 2005 to 2013, to play at the Acapulco Mexican Open. During that time Nico played four finals, winning in 2008 and 2009.
Through the course of the 2016 season, he has won one title in the Professional Tour, the ATP 250 Estoril, Portu- gal, where he defeated his compatriot Pablo Carreño at the finals. With this win, Almagro has reached his 30th title of his career.
In his previous visits to Mexico, Almagro, has left a good impression among fans for his dedication and profes- sionalism. He is determined to seek in Los Cabos his first title on hard courts and recapture the Mexican public.
