Also the French Julien Benneteau had a harsh victory against the American player Jared Donaldson, who was finally defeated in three sets 4-6, 7-6(4) and 6-2, during more than two hours of match. Donaldson played the qualification.

Bennetteau wil play against Horacio Zeballos in his next match. Zeballos only needed 61 minutes to beat Alexander Dolgopolov, 5th seeded of the tournament.
